Qualifications of Registered Provider, the Manager and Staff:

In addition to Mrs Donlevy, the Registered Manager, the home employs six Deputy Managers and an Administration Manager, who is also highly qualified in care. On duty every morning there are six carers, four housekeepers, two cooks and a laundry assistant. There are always three care members on duty throughout the night, one of which is a Deputy Manager. The home prides itself on the longevity of its staff team.

The home is fully committed to staff learning and development. The Registered Manager has a City and Guilds Advanced Management in Care qualification and is working towards her RMA Award. She is also an NVQ D32/33 Assessor. The Deputy Managers have all completed the in-house Deputy Managers Training Course, with some having completed their NVQ Levels 3 and 4 and the remainder well on the way to completing theirs.

NVQ’s are an important part of the home’s training, and staff are encouraged to attain one of these awards, whatever their job role.
